Really good Culinary Delights

I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience at Kalla Bongo Lake Resort. The breakfast was amazing, featuring a selection of fresh fruits, smoothies, and eggs cooked to order. I was particularly impressed with the Sri Lankan rice and curry dishes for dinner. They were rich in flavor and beautifully presented. Comfort Beyond Measure

The rooms at Kalla Bongo were a highlight of my stay. I loved the clean and spacious accommodations, especially the lagoon view from my room. Sleeping in the comfortable bed with refreshing linens made for some of the best rest I’ve had while traveling. The room also featured a rain shower that felt like a luxurious escape after a long day.

Spa-like Showers

The bathroom amenities greatly enhanced my experience at Kalla Bongo. The dedicated shower area with warm water available throughout the day was a treat. I enjoyed the rainforest shower, which felt revitalizing and calming at the same time. It made my mornings much more refreshing.

Tranquil Lake Activities

One of my favorite experiences was canoeing on the picturesque lake. The resort provided the canoe for free, allowing me to explore the tranquil surroundings. It was a wonderful way to unwind, and I appreciated the feeling of being immersed in nature, watching birds and the lovely wildlife that inhabited the area.

Kalla Bongo is a peaceful oasis just outside the hustle of Hikkaduwa. The serene environment, combined with comfortable and clean accommodations, makes it a great choice for a relaxing getaway. The food was excellent, especially breakfast, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. However, the pool could be cleaner, and the location, while beautiful, requires a short trip to get to the main beach area.
